Challenge:

Create an engaging and informative annual global automotive color popularity report for Axalta in the form of an infographic poster. The challenge was to design a visually compelling and easy-to-understand poster that could also be folded into a brochure-size direct mailer and handout, fitting into a branded catalog envelope.

 

Solution:

Infographic Design: Designed an eye-catching infographic poster using Adobe Illustrator, incorporating charts, graphs, and visual elements to represent the data on global automotive color popularity. Ensured the design was both informative and visually appealing to capture and retain the audience’s interest.

Folding Mechanism: Developed a folding mechanism that allowed the large poster to be easily converted into a standard brochure-size format for direct mailing and handouts. This required precise design and layout adjustments to ensure the content remained clear and impactful in both formats.

Branding Consistency: Maintained Axalta’s branding throughout the design, using their color palette, typography, and logo to reinforce brand identity. Created a branded catalog envelope to ensure the entire package was cohesive and professional.

Print and Production: Oversaw the print and production process, ensuring high-quality output and accurate folding and cutting of the poster to meet the required dimensions and specifications.
